About Us
For the Art
For The Art is a Swiss non-profit organization founded in 2015 in Geneva-Switzerland.
For the past seven years, we have been active in Lebanon & Switzerland.
Our mission is to support the healing of children, teenagers and adults who suffer from trauma (e.g. war trauma, domestic violence, refugees etc.) thanks to Art Therapy.
We call it, HeART therapy.
Why Art Therapy?
Art therapy uses active art making, creative processes and applied psychological theory through a psycho-therapeutic relationship. It engages the mind body and spirit to reach personal and relational goals instead if verbal methods.
The Heart Therapy Centre
Following the horrific explosions on the port of Beirut in August 2020, we urgently launched the For The Art therapy centre.
A safe space for all ages and nationalities to attend therapy. We offer psychological support for traumatised children, teens and adults.
